...Making life better for Yorkshire Heart Patients

THE 2011 SPONSORED WALK
AT ROUNDHAY PARK
September 4th

The annual Sponsored Walk took place as usual in the beautiful park at Roundhay in Leeds. The Mansion provided the rooms for registration and the stalls selling Take Heart merchandise , books, knitted garments and bric-a-brac. The tombola stall proved one of the most popular as usual.

The very light drizzle kept an ideal temperature for the walkers and hundreds were sent on their way by Jo Wood, the Heart Centre Directorate Manager for a round of the circuit - some once, others two, three or even four times.

Three laps down and one to go - Jeremy Caiger (left) and his family. Jeremy is a prospective Trustee for Take Heart and completed four circuits - no mean feat for someone
who has recently had major open heart surgery.
Another success story from the Yorkshire Heart Centre.

MANY THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO TOOK PART
