Members of the staff at Waite and Co (or at least, the fit ones) held a sponsored
run to raise money for Take Heart. I was delighted to receive a cheque for £1050.00
from them for their efforts. Then an extra £77.00 in cash which came in late.
What an effort is was too - the run started at their office in Otley, all the way to
the Guiseley office and onward to their office in Horsforth.
Thank you so much. The money will be put to good use in the Yorkshire Heart
Centre.

Our Trustee, Paul Kaufman organised a quiz night in the lovely Farthing Restaurant
in Thomas Danby College. Dozens of people joined in and, before the quiz, were treated
to a really excellent meal prepared by the catering students of the college.
The questions were really easy - but the answers were difficult... and the winners were
presented with M&S Gift vouchers. The booby prize consisted of four Take Heart Mugs!
The event raised more than £550.00 for Take Heart thanks to the organisational
skills of Paul.
