Every year, a group of around eight family and friends get together at the Otley Folk Festival and organise
catering in the Methodist Hall in Otley for visitors. Most of the food and drink is donated and the
proceeds are split between the Church and a nominated charity.
This year, the charity was Take Heart and I was delighted to meet representatives of the group in the
Yorkshire Heart Centre to receive a cheque for £328.67.
Thank you so much ladies – every penny will go towards making a difference to patients and staff in the
Yorkshire Heart Centre.
