chairman’s comments As you will see from the front cover this is a year for celebrating! I cannot believe that Take Heart is 25 years old. 1989 to 2014 - where has all that time gone? The charity has contributed so much From a tiny beginning, Take Heart to the thousands of patients that have has so much to be proud of, having received such excellent treatment raised well over three million pounds and care over these years at LGI and and delivered so many benefts to St James’s Hospital - not forgetting patients, their relatives and staf at Killingbeck Hospital, the (then) Otley the centre. I would like to thank all our General - now Wharfedale Hospital, members, supporters and of course, all and Seacrof Hospital - and many other our Trustees and volunteers, past and units that eventually became the new present who have helped to make Take Yorkshire Heart Centre.
