FORMAL OPENING OF THE CI UNIT
IN LGI ON THURSDAY 22nd MAY 2008

Senior cardiac staff and members of Take Heart came together for the formal opening of the newly refurbished Cardiac Investigations Unit at the Leeds General Infirmary.

Maggie Boyle is the new Chief Executive of the Leeds Hospitals NHS Trust and, declaring the unit open, expressed her gratitude to Take Heart for the tremendous work they have done, not only in providing superb surroundings for the Cardiac Investigations Unit, but over the whole of the Yorkshire Heart Centre.

The photographs show Maggie at the ceremony with Colin Pullan, Stacey Hunter, Greg Reynolds and Jim McLenachan, together with many other staff and Take Heart members and Trustees.
