I am a carer for my husband who has a long term heart condition and is currently waiting for a heart transplant. I decided to set up these informal coffee mornings to give carers the opportunity to talk to other carers about their situation and their worries. I found that when I needed someone to talk to, there was no one or group that I could turn to. These coffee mornings therefore will give people the opportunity to get support by talking to other people going through the same situations.
